I just got finished watching episode 9, and yay, more Eric! I really really love that vampire.
But they did change something from the book. In the book, Eric staked a vampire that tried to attack Sookie. In the show, Bill stakes him. It should be Eric. That just annoys me because it’s playing out so Eric seems much colder than he is. And Bill seems like more of a stand up guy than he is. ugh.

I agree wholeheartedly. (Without having seen the show.) I forget which book I’m on, (the were sniper one) but I’m liking Eric. I can’t wait until they are together more. So sad after he forgot they made love.

Spy … he’s going to remember.

Zoe! Don’t TELL me!

I’m loving this show, but haven’t read the books. I don’t think I’m going to read them. I have such a long list of stuff I want to read, and it’s sort of fun not knowing what will happen. Oh. Except for reading this blog, where my good friend Zoe the Mouth….

hahahaha sorry sorry sorry, Spy. I was just trying to give you hope.
November 9, 2008 at 11:24 am
Hey Robin, since they are changing a lot of things, reading the books isn’t going to let you know what happens. It’ll just piss you off when they change shit. hahaha
hahahahahaha, sorry sorry sorry. I didn’t think it was a big spoiler. hahaha. I’m a bad bad girl.
November 9, 2008 at 12:26 pm
Fine. Just tell me the friggin’ ending already. I know you want to.
November 9, 2008 at 12:32 pm
No, Robin, people will beat me with a stick! And that hurts.
Besides, the series isnt’ over yet. So I don’t know the ending.
I hope Sookie ends up with Eric though.

Eric is just so… commanding. Even on the show, Bill is kind of a pussy by comparison.
Yum.

I just watched and episode..or part of one. Please tell me the books are better.

LOL this show is my candy factory. I can’t turn away even if I try.
I’m reading Dead Until Dark now and I’m enjoying it. I had a hard time getting into it because of the first person and my brain had rearrange itself because I’m reading on *gasp!shock!* paper! But it’s pretty cool. I grabbed Book 4 cause I hear that’s the Eric one and I’m officially an Eric fangirl (especially with Alex S. on the show looking so yum).
That’s a bummer they changed who stake Longshadow on the show. I hear from book fans that they changed a few things to make Bill look more sympathetic than he is in the books? Hmm…

OMG YES! Alex could bite me anyday. Eric is… Oh that was a perfect perfect casting job.
You will LOVE book 4.
The bartenders are kind of like Spinal Tap drummers in the Sookieverse.
Yes, they have. Bill is a poophead. He’s truly the biggest lamer in the universe. Eric is where it’s at.

I recently broke down and got Showtime (had to see Dexter) and I’m going to watch this series soon.
November 10, 2008 at 10:08 am
hehe, I want to see Dexter too.
And I think you will LOVE Eric, on True Blood.
I mean, he can compete with Spike. He’s more badass than Spike. I know, a little buffy fangirl piece of me just died, but holy damn. ERIC!

I just finished book 7 “all together dead”. I have ordered book 8, should be here this week. I think I like the first book the least out of all them so far. I have been watching True Blood, which has lots of extra stuff the book doesn’t. My husband actually watches the show as well, its kinda funny. He wants how the show differs from the book. I really like Eric. I can’t stand Bill, he gets on my nerves. Can’t wait till new season starts, just to see whats different.

Hey Sunstorm, me too! LOVE Eric, but then I think I’ve said that probably thirty times here haha!
Book 4 I think is my favorite.
