It’s my favorite quote. I look at it several times every day, because it’s right in front of me.

Sometimes I think socially we get brainwashed into thinking we can’t, so why even try?

So I’m on a mission of re-brainwashing myself, into a new mode of thinking.

Fortune Favors the Brave… a good quote, I think I might try to adopt that one.

And the nudity in Rome, was yum.

I think it goes back to the “social communism” post I made a while back.

We both have this inherent need for everybody to be equal, AND when we think “hey maybe I can do more” society actively stands against us as “who do you think you are?” Until we already arrive wherever we’re going.

As a society, we deride anyone with any big goal, until after they’ve accomplished it. Based on the fact that “not everybody can do it.”

Well that’s great but, we don’t know what we can or cannot do until we get out there. And I know who doesn’t know what you can do: Everybody else.

Most people don’t know what they are capable of. Sure, I may not be capable of anything. But I won’t sit around and assume that’s the case without giving it a really solid effort.

I believe the people who accomplish anything, are the risk takers. Yes, the largest failures come from that pool too, but … sitting in a corner and not trying is failure too.
