Last year I got through 41 books, let’s see if I can do better this year.
1. Private Arrangements by: Sherry Thomas. Amazing historical romance! A married couple has lived on separate continents for the entire ten years of their marriage. Lady Tremaine has requested a divorce so she can be free to marry another man. Lord Tremaine will agree on the condition that she produces him an heir. Of course for that to happen, they gotta get in bed together again. (Finished reading January 14th.)
2. Shrink Rap by: Robin Altman. A very funny book on child psychiatry. Read it even if you don’t have kids or don’t plan to have kids. You WERE a kid at one point, right? (Finished reading January 15th.)
3. High Stakes by: Erin McCarthy. (Finished reading February 8th.)
4. Midnight Sins by: Cynthia Eden. Cara is a succubus who falls for one of her prey. As always, Cynthia Eden delivers a book that’s hard to put down. (Finished reading February 19th.)
5. His Perfect Submissive by: Alyssa Aaron Kara’s brother is about to go to jail for stealing money from his company. Kara goes to speak with the owner of the company to try to work out a payment plan. The owner’s idea of a payment plan is for her to marry him and submit to him for a year. This is a kinky D/s style erotic novel. It’s a lot more “gentle” than what most kink fans are used to, so may not appeal to everyone. Also some of the subject matter regarding her pass may be uncomfortable for some readers. (Finished reading May 24th)
6. Midnight’s Master by: Cynthia Eden. Lovely book! If you like demon romances, this one is great. (Finished reading June 8th)
7. A Girl’s Guide to Vampires by: Katie Macalister Humorous, but not really a vampire romance. (love interest is human not vampire.) (Finished reading June 12th)
8. The Accidental Vampire by: Lynsay Sands Cute addition to the Argeneau vampire series. I really like Sands’ vampire mythology. This is the 7th book in the series, but you can technically read them in any order without a problem. (Finished reading June 18th)
9. Dead and Gone by: Charlaine Harris Book 9 in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Entertaining, engaging, funny, and YUM lots of Eric/Sookie goodness. LOVE the Eric. Also actually liked Bill in this one as well and I’m not normally a big Bill fan. (Finished reading June 23rd)
